Ms. Danara Harvell is the Founder of Humble Hearts Training & Consulting and an experienced assisted living professional with a strong background in operations, compliance, and leadership. Her journey began as a caregiver to her grandmother, an experience that shaped her commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care. She went on to found and operate her own assisted living program, where she managed daily operations, regulatory compliance, staffing oversight, and quality assurance in accordance with Maryland regulations.
In addition to owning and operating a licensed program, Ms. Harvell has served as an Alternate Assisted Living Manager, supporting other providers in maintaining structured and compliant operations. She has also taught the State of Maryland approved 80-hour Assisted Living Manager Training course, preparing future leaders to understand regulatory standards, operational responsibilities, and effective program management. With more than 20 years of combined experience in banking, procurement, payroll, business operations, and financial management, she brings a well-rounded perspective to both care delivery and organizational leadership. Through her work, Ms. Harvell remains committed to strengthening assisted living programs through education, guidance, and responsible leadership.
